Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Item Processing Assistant to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the operational efficiency of our esteemed financial institution.

Key Responsibilities
? Process a range of check processing activities, utilizing channels such as Remote Deposit Capture and Branch Capture.
? Reconcile and address out-of-balance transactions, implementing necessary adjustments to uphold accuracy.
? Enter and reconcile electronic cash letter files while verifying computer output related to electronic transactions.
? Provide support to both internal and external customers regarding check-related inquiries through phone and written communication.
? Maintain compliance by performing all duties according to established procedures and guidelines.
? Collaborate with colleagues by contributing to departmental reports and assisting other departments as required.

Required Skills
? A minimum of one year of experience in Bank Operations or Retail Banking is preferred.
? Proficient in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing tasks.
? Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.

Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent is required.
