About the position

The Pharmacist position at Orchard LLC focuses on Medicare Part D, requiring expertise in managed care and provider benefit management. This role involves supporting investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare programs, and it is primarily home-based within the continental United States. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in pharmacy services, and the ability to manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities
? Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned projects and coordinate resources among projects and contracts.

? Prioritize, delegate, and accomplish tasks independently and in a team to ensure successful implementation of goals and objectives.
,
? Work with stakeholders, drug plans, prescribers, and pharmacies to build partnerships and support data sharing.
,
? Review and interpret contract deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
,
? Lead the design and application of work plans and coordinate their evaluation and modifications.
,
? Contribute to the conceptual design and implementation of projects and assist with project execution as needed.
,
? Ensure all project deliverables and timelines are met and report on variances in a timely manner.
,
? Provide educational programs as necessary to meet project goals and promote effective medication use.
,
? Contribute newsletter articles, abstracts for submission to organizations, and written manuscripts for publication.
,
? Present at national pharmacy, medical, and quality organization meetings.

Requirements
? Registered pharmacist with a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, and a Master's degree in pharmacy or Pharm.D.
,
? 3 to 5 years of experience in practice (retail, health-systems, consulting, industry, or academia).
,
? Strongly preferred experience in Medicare Part D Plan or PBM.
,
? Prior experience with medical testimony, law enforcement referrals, or investigations is preferred.
,
? Experience with wholesalers/inventory management is preferred.
,
? Medicaid experience is a plus.
,
? Compounding and/or tele-prescribing experience is a plus.
,
? Intermediate-level and above ability to use Excel is required.
,
? Strong writing skills for timely and accurate completion of contract deliverables.
