Loan Processor - Bilingual (Chinese/English) - Philadelphia, PA

Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual, Chinese/English speaking, detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess great analytical skills, meticulousness, and problem solving skills. No experience necessary. If you have a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!

Duties:
• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness
• Verify borrower information including employment, income, credit history, and assets
• Ensure all loan files meet regulatory compliance standards
• Communicate with underwriters to clear conditions and expedite loan approval process
• Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and insurance agents to gather necessary documentation
• Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the loan process
• Maintain confidentiality of borrower information throughout the process

• Demonstrate good judgment while making decisions that impact clients and the company itself.

• Display professional conduct in all interactions including appearance, communication, attendance and punctuality.

• Performs other duties /functions as requested and assigned.

Requirements:
• Strong understanding of basic math principles and credit analysis
• Knowledge of mortgage contracts and underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication skills to interact with borrowers, underwriters, and third-party vendors

• Must be bilingual in Chinese/English.

Nice-to-have Skills:
• Certification in Loan Processing or Underwriting
• Experience working with loan origination software

• Prior experience in loan processing or underwriting within the financial services industry, preferred
