Our client is seeking to add an experienced Commercial Property Underwriting / Product Consultant with expertise in E&S markets to drive the profitable growth and development of their Property line of business. In this role, the Commercial Property Consultant will focus on underwriting, training, and strategy, taking ownership of growing the property portfolio while maintaining profitability and aligning with company objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create strategies that enhance underwriting profitability and improve operational efficiencies. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to meet with external partners as needed.

Key Responsibilities
? Evaluate and underwrite E&S commercial property risks, focusing on high-hazard or unique risks, to determine acceptability, pricing, terms, and conditions.
? Establish and manage pricing structures based on risk assessment, ensuring alignment with company standards and market conditions.
? Partner with agents and producers to negotiate terms and conditions.
? Oversee relationships with property-related vendors to optimize expense control and maintain quality.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and producers to identify new business opportunities and grow the portfolio.

Qualifications
? 5+ years of experience in E&S property underwriting, with a focus on higher-hazard commercial property risks.
? Strong technical expertise in property underwriting and pricing models.
? Bachelor?s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred).
? Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or similar (preferred).
? Demonstrated ability to create profitable underwriting strategies and make informed risk decisions.
? Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret data from actuarial, claims, and loss control reports.
? Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
? Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with agents, producers, and vendors.
