Job Summary
? This role provides consultative and subject matter expertise for evaluating and creating job descriptions.
? Provides solutions for shaping and defining the org structure of a department or business unit.
? Engages people managers through an intake process and makes a determination if there is a similar job in use and/or the need to create new job descriptions.
? Updates and maintains the job description catalog and recommends changes and/or updates.
? Is accountable for driving outcomes and effectively brokering services with key stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions
? Consultation
? Partners with business leaders and HR to map existing job descriptions into a single job catalog, making suggestions on best aligned roles, flagging any discrepancies, and suggesting any necessary changes to the job catalog based on market data and research.
? Through an intake process, works with people leaders to create new job descriptions or utilize existing jobs from catalog.
? Provides recommendations to people leaders and HR to help shape and define the organizational structure of a department or business unit.
? Reviews market benchmarking data in compensation review for new or revised roles.
? Ensures successful and timely delivery of job description requests from people leaders.
? Serves as an escalation resource and subject matter expert for people managers and other stakeholders for all items related to job descriptions or employee job alignment.
? Governance
? Updates and maintains the job description library, making recommendations for changes and provides updates to key stakeholders.
? Tracks and manages pending job description requests to ensure timely implementation.
? Operates governance process for all new or revised job descriptions
? Data Analysis & Reporting
? Prepares and analyzes various custom and standard reports.
? Prepares job evaluation status reports and provides updates and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership on internal process improvement or trends across enterprise.
? Supports compensation team with systems testing and salary survey participation.
? Performs various data audits pertaining to job catalog alignment and system attributes.
? Facilitation
? Works with Compensation to ensure consistency with internal policies and practices (i.e. span of control, organizational design/structure, alignment and application of job catalog, etc.)
? Facilitates handoffs between key stakeholders (i.e. people managers, HR, Compensation and Talent Acquisition) regarding any new and/or updated job descriptions to ensure timely delivery and implementation.
? Project Support
? Support special projects from beginning to end which may include job description processes, governance tracking and oversight, systems migrations/support.

Education Requirements
? High School Diploma or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required.
? Bachelor?s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements
? Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with competency in compensation, data analysis or project management preferred.
? Experience and understanding of Hay methodology, Korn Ferry job architecture, and compensation practices is preferred.

Special Skill Requirement
? Proficient knowledge and applicable of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Physical Actions
? Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location.
? The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation.
? Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions.
? Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift.
? Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces.
? Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
? Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties.
? Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift.
? Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
? Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information.
? Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects.
? Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace.
? Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.
