About the position

As a Total Pay Operations Analyst Senior at Starbucks, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of the time management solution within the payroll cloud. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving operational excellence and enhancing the payroll experience for partners. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, leading work stream deliverables, executing testing, and managing change related to the deployment of time management capabilities. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations, ensuring that Starbucks continues to be a leader in the industry. In this role, you will serve as the business lead for the workstream focused on designing the technical solution for the future state of time management. This includes overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (QA) processes, executing and reviewing business testing across all test phases, and documenting the to-be business processes and any necessary changes. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the Project Management Office (PMO), process owners, and subject matter experts to ensure that project planning is executed smoothly, while effectively managing dependencies and risks. Additionally, you will take the lead on change management and training initiatives, providing input into the change management process and leading training sessions and cross-functional activities related to the deployment of time management solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
? Serve as business lead for the workstream responsible for designing the technical solution for the future state of time management.

? Lead UAT and QA of the solution, executing and reviewing business testing for all test phases.

? Capture and document to-be business processes and process changes.
,
? Coordinate with PMO, process owners, and subject matter resources for project planning.

? Manage dependencies and risks associated with the project.

? Provide input into change management and lead training and cross-functional activities for time management deployment.

Requirements
? Multi-state/Provincial full cycle payroll processing experience, including time entry to general ledger entry.
,
? Strong skills in payroll systems (specifically SAP) and accounting systems (specifically Oracle).
,
? Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.) and other software interfacing with SAP (Kronos, Authoria, etc.).
,
? Foundational understanding of payroll including garnishments, bonus payments, special payments, and payroll taxes for the US and Canada.
,
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
,
? Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
,
? Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
,
? Ability to convey complicated information in a logical manner.

? Training, facilitation, and presentation skills.

? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

? 5 years of experience in business requirements documentation.
,
? 5 years of experience in test script development and end-user testing.

? 5 years of experience in end-user support and training.
