About the position

This position is a hybrid role that combines three onsite days per week with remote work. The primary focus of this role is to manage various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. The individual will be responsible for preparing month-end journal entries and conducting assigned balance sheet reconciliations. This includes completing general ledger and subledger account analysis, as well as preparing and assisting with the review of financial statements as part of the close process. The role also involves providing necessary reports for customer and vendor analysis, compiling audit support as requested by both internal and external auditors, and developing a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes and business knowledge related to the assigned area. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate the values and behaviors aligned with the Company Cultural Beliefs. This includes assisting with the research of inventory costing issues and conducting analyses to ensure proper cost accounting practices are followed. The position also requires providing annual budget and monthly forecast support and analysis to ensure accurate projections of financial results. Timely responses to requests for information and reports from auditors, regional, or corporate associates are essential, as well as completing special projects and analyses as requested by senior leadership and corporate finance teams.

Responsibilities

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
,
? Minimum of two years in general accounting; cost accounting experience preferred
,
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
,
? Attention to detail and organizational skills; multi-task oriented; and ability to meet deadlines
,
? Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
,
? Experience with PeopleSoft accounting preferred
,
? Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
,
? Effective oral and written communication skills
,
? Ability to work with and demonstrate discretion with confidential information
