As an Account Executive for Key Accounts, you'll look for new, fully and self-insured sales business in the 100-5000 employee range. You will grow and develop sales numbers, setting expectations for deliverables to greatly improve the lives of others. If you are located in San Francisco, Sacramento, or San Jose, CA, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges. As a Sales representative for the UHC Key Accounts, you will be responsible for broker and direct sales to customers in the 100-5000 employee range. The principal focus is the sale of new fully insured and self-funded business with indirect responsibility for the retention of existing accounts. You will identify potential healthcare business customers, be accountable for prospecting from presale to implementation, attain targeted sales goals for the region and health plan, and produce sales resulting in profitable premium levels. You will lead a cross-functional team to achieve positive sales results and identify opportunities for ancillary/Enterprise products on all new sales. In terms of relationship building, you will develop and maintain solid broker relationships, key internal relationships, and understand customer and broker needs to provide value-added consultation. You will also identify key brokers/consultants for management development and present a positive image of UHG in the marketplace, while being involved in the community through professional organizations, associations, and local organizations. Additionally, you will maintain current knowledge of all UHC products, services, and underwriting practices and principles, effectively communicating UHG/UHC strategies and mission to the marketplace.

Requirements
? Current active sales insurance license (Life and Health).
,
? 5+ years of successful sales experience, with a full range of health care products.

? Proven ability to produce sales to employers through direct sales or brokers.

? Proven ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
,
? Willing or able to travel as required.
,
? Access to reliable transportation (own a vehicle).
,
? Currently reside or willing to relocate within 30 miles of San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA or Sacramento, CA.
