About the position
A company is actively looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Chief Technology Officer with deep domain, engineering and SaaS application development experience in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sectors. They are looking for a hands-on software engineering leader with deep programming experience in developing AI and Machine Learning based customized SaaS solutions. Selected candidates would be able to work remotely from any location. This can be a full time or part-time role. For the 1st year compensation would be 100% revenue based on the client projects that you help to deliver.
Role Summary and Key Responsibilities: ? Define the vision and roadmap for the products and solutions at the company in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sectors. ? Design and develop state-of-the-art AI, Machine Learning models and solutions. ? Translate new AI technologies into solutions. ? Develop the minimum viable products for AI and Machine Learning use cases that can be productized as SaaS applications. ? Configure and maintain the Azure cloud environments and follow best practices in data privacy and security. ? Lead all backend and frontend engineering development activities for the AI, web and mobile applications. ? Mentor and grow the engineering team. ? Interact closely with the business development, marketing, product and data science engineers to ensure the product is built per the customer requirements. ? Lead the customer meetings and discussions. ? Lead and own all customer project delivery in a timely manner. ? Lead technical support and ensure timely responses to technical issues and questions.
Qualifications
? Ph.D or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science or relevant Engineering areas.
? Strong hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, Deep learning, Data Science, SaaS application development in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors.
? Deep knowledge and experience in working Open Source software tools & technologies.
? 15+ years of managing engineering teams using an Agile or Scrum methodology.
? 15+ years and proven industry experience building robust & scalable web/app services with a heavy focus on data, data management, AI, and Machine Learning.
? Experience in building and maintaining scalable/ highly secure / available cloud-based SaaS applications using Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
? Strong expertise in most of the Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure blob Storage, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Resource Manager templates (ARM templates), Azure ML, Azure Machine Learning studio etc
? Hands-on full stack engineer proficient in Python, JavaScript, Angular etc
? Excellent programming skills in Python.
? Experience with deep learning tools & frameworks.
? Expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
? Established track record of developing and delivering AI and Machine Learning based products and SaaS applications.
? Strong development experience working with cloud computing tools & technologies. Strong experience with Azure cloud services is a strong plus.
? Strong team player, experience managing teams.
? Collaborative, self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.
? Skills with SQL and NoSQL databases.
? Hands-on experience in setting up continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines on Azure.
? Strong hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards.
? Experience with SaaS solution pricing.
? Experience with managing and supporting SaaS applications.
? Hands-on experience leading a team while still being involved in day-to-day coding.
? Skillful in building a team culture and able to mentor and train.
? Startup experience is a must.
? An absolute collaborative and ?CAN DO? approach to problem solving.
? Positive attitude and ability to laugh and enjoy the team work!
? Must have Work Authorization in US, we will not be able to support any VISA sponsorship. No H1B or OPT.
