Juvenile Community Corrections- Family Intervention Specialist
About the position
Responsibilities
• Carry a caseload of community clients and clients in the facility.
• Support parental involvement in child's development through parent/child interventions.
• Co-facilitate Teen Life Skill Groups using evidence-based curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with clients, family members, caretakers, and the treatment team to determine ISP goals.
• Address environmental risk factors, reintegration issues, and early childhood interventions.
• Provide case management in accordance with family needs and program goals.
• Contact support services for clients and their families to access additional services.
Requirements
• High School diploma/GED plus 4 years relevant experience with the target population.
• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years relevant experience with the target population.
• Master's Degree in education, social services, human services or related field.
• Minimum of two years administrative or related experience.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in child protective services (2 years preferred).
