JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at the Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a teaching faculty position in digital media and analytics. This is a non-tenure track, multi-year faculty position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. The appointee will be a faculty member in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, starting in spring or fall 2024.

We seek a colleague who has the knowledge and experience to teach a range of courses in our digital media curriculum, including digital advertising, digital campaigns, analytics, and digital public relations. Ability to teach other courses in Advertising and Public Relations will be a plus. Responsibilities for the position include teaching, student advising, and service to the university and community. Teaching will be both in-residence and online as the need arises.

Education and Experience: Ideal candidates should have demonstrated the capacity and curiosity required to stay current on developments in the complex and fast-changing digital media ecosystem. Professional experience in one or more areas of digital media is preferred. Applicants should possess a Master?s degree.

The Department of Advertising and Public Relations offers both residential and online degree programs. It is part of the Bellisario College, one of the largest accredited communication programs in the nation.
