Job Summary

The College of Science, Technology, and Health at Lindenwood University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology. Qualified applicants will possess a PhD or PsyD in _Psychology with specialization in clinical or counseling (preferred) but open to other applied areas of psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses (12 credit hours) each semester on Abnormal Psychology, Personality, Introduction to Psychology, and/or special topics in the candidate's area of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online. All Lindenwood faculty members are expected to advise and mentor students, continue to develop their expertise through research and scholarship, and participate in faculty

governance and campus life.



The Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychology is a full-time, 9-month faculty position that will begin Fall 2024. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.



We seek a scholar who will mentor undergraduate students in research and/or other applied experiences. All faculty members also serve as academic advisors and participate on committees as needed. The Psychology Department currently has 6 full-time members representing the main sub-disciplines in the field. The Psychology program is one of the most popular and thriving programs at Lindenwood University.
