About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Remote Access Security Engineer who is responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the security systems within a Wells Fargo's network, including the computer systems and data. In this role, you will: Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events. Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incidents digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies. Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards. Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security. Review and correlate security logs. Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity. Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Required Qualifications, US: 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Experience supporting a large Enterprise deployment of a layer 3 VPN solution such as Palo Alto Global Protect. Experience adopting a Zero Trust Network Access solution for Remote Access and large Enterprise environments. Experience supporting Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS and Android devices in the context of Remote Access. Experience supporting Cloud based services. Desired Qualifications: Advanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies. Automation experience supporting the operational management of a large Remote Access on premise or cloud-based solution. Experience supporting an Enterprise level MDM solution like Microsoft Intune Splunk experience and the creation and management of dashboards, reports and alerts. Advanced analytic skills with the adoption of machine learning to develop alerting and monitoring capabilities. Change and Problem management experience using ServiceNow. Technical documentation experience. Jira and Confluence experience. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization. Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives. Financial services experience. Experience working in a regulated industry. Job Expectations: Ability to work off hours and occasional weekends to support change activities. Available to work hybrid mode. Available to work in office.
