Posted 2025-03-15<strong>Job Summary<br><br></strong>The Business-To-Business (B2B) / Electronic Business (E-Business) Architect is responsible for managing the implementation of EDI, API, or any other E-Business technology with Coca-Cola?s trading partners. This includes managing the bottler, customer, supplier, and 3rd party relationships; understanding the business requirements, B2B project and service management, project discovery and inception, conducting meetings with internal and external business stakeholders, performing data analysis and project reporting, and managing the development and support processes and resources of 3rd party providers, such as OpenText.<br><br><strong><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></strong> <br><br><ul><li>Acts as liaison between the IT B2B team, Coca-Cola operating companies and electronic Trading Partners</li><li>Obtains information from trading partners and Coca-Cola operating companies required to implement EDI and Electronic Business initiatives</li><li>Manages the EDI and B2B development with 3rd party providers</li><li>Ensures that providers perform the following to Coca-Cola standards and SLAs:</li><ul><li>file mapping to trading partner mapping specifications</li><li>negotiate changes with the trading partner related to mapping specifications</li><li>create trading partner relationships across all dependent systems (internal and external)</li><li>configure and tests communication with trading partners including sFTP, SMTP, and AS/2</li><li>technical certification of communications, proper standards usage, and FA processing</li><li>monitors Functional Acknowledgment reports and notifies trading partners of discrepancies</li><li>verify codes and data for all required fields related to trading partner implementations and works with trading partners to resolve discrepancies, where appropriate</li><li>provide day-to-day operational support by reviewing daily reports and addressing issues as required</li></ul><li>provide on-call support 24 by 7 to address data issues such as EDI translation errors, communication errors and document duplication</li><li>Provides upward, downward, and lateral communication regarding the status of trading partner implementations</li><li>Functions as a liaison between business and technical teams for trading partner implementations</li><li>Facilitates issue/conflict resolution related to trading partner implementations</li><li>Meets with bottlers, business stakeholders, and 3rd party providers regularly to ensure projects are advancing</li><li>Participate in customer discovery calls when business savvy technical resources are required by the project</li><li>Responsible for monitoring/auditing EDI and E-Business interfaces and trading partner implementations</li><li>Proactively identifies problems and makes recommendations regarding solutions</li><li>Ensures smooth transition from EDI and E-Business testing certification to production state</li><li>Works with trading partners to define modifications to existing EDI and E-Business relationships</li><li>Makes recommendations to improve the EDI and E-Business trading partner implementation processes</li><li>Prioritizes projects to ensure trading partner and stakeholder needs are met</li><li>Responsible for the definition and design of partner specific mapping specifications as needed</li><li>Provides extended assistance to the support team when business insights are needed, or during critical outages</li><li>Utilizes the Service Now Ticketing Tool to create and manage project tickets for the 3rd party provider</li><li>Utilizes the LENS Reporting Tool to monitor transaction flow and system activity</li><li>Drives the evolution of the auditing and tracking tools used for E-Business</li><li>Documents Trading Partner EDI and E-Business process flows</li><li>Provide stakeholders with the appropriate metrics and statistics related to efficiency and performance</li><li>Train stakeholders on our tools, standards, and E-Business environment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Key Skills And Abilities<br><br></strong>The B2B Architect VPN </li><li> Advanced knowledge of and experience with Value Added Network communications </li><li> Advanced knowledge of bottler integrations, such as with SAP (iDOCs) and eoStar (BSI) </li><li> Experience managing medium to large sized projects of advanced complexity without assistance <br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Education Requirements<br><br></strong></strong><strong>Minimum: </strong>High School or GED relevant work experience related to information technology<br><br><strong>Preferred: </strong>4 Year / Bachelors Degree<br><br><strong>Preferred: </strong>PMP Certification or Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification<br><br><strong><strong>Years of Experience<br><br></strong></strong><strong>8+ years of experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li> with the ANSI X12 EDI Standards </li><li> with implementing several types of X12 transaction sets </li><li> working with and coordinating various parties involved in an EDI relationship </li><li> requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing and implementation of EDI processes </li><li> managing and coordinating EDI implementations that include the Operational Company, the Trading Partner, and 3rd party providers or support teams </li><li> using EDI translation software <br><br></li></ul><strong>5+ years of experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li> in a support or help desk role </li><li> with Bottler or business processes that leverage EDI </li><li> working with Bottler or back-end systems that leverage EDI (knowledge of system data flows and capabilities) </li><li> using project management tools, such as MS Project </li><li> with XML Standards and/or API Design Concepts </li><li> with technical systems, tools, databases, and programming languages <br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Required Travel<br><br></strong></strong>Willingness and ability to travel or come into the office as required by the business.
