Position Responsibilities: Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders Manages work movement plans Where You Come In As part of our Center of Expertise (COE), you will help build our approach to managing our source-to-pay (S2P) roadmap. Our roadmap is designed to improve the S2P experience for our team, stakeholders and suppliers. While this is an individual contributor role, you will have the opportunity to take what we have today and evolve it with other teams across the COE as well as the category towers that source and contract to support Boeing businesses. You will also partner with other functional stakeholders across Boeing. This is an opportunity to help shape the technology and industry tools we use, how we teach / develop / train talent, to the governance and processes that helps inculcate common objectives. As a program manager, you will help set context, goals and integration across a number of project leaders. What You Bring to Boeing: Extensive experience in supply chain and specifically, source-to-pay processes Ability to lead large-scale, critical projects/initiatives related to business processes, technology implementation, policy and procedures, etc. ? as well as integrate across others that are leading critical projects/initiatives Ability to foster and maintain relationships both internally and in industry; strong cross-functional teaming expertise Multi-level communication skills (peers through senior executives) with an ability to create compelling presentations, build business cases, understand requirements, help manage and provide visibility to risks and roadblocks, lead by influence and drive decisions/outcome A passion for building and sharing knowledge Motivation to deliver simpler, faster and better experiences for our team and others Ability to translate data into compelling, strategic and executable recommendations/solutions Program management and technology skills and competence Experience with SAP Ariba and other S2P technologies preferred Industry affiliations preferred This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in leading source-to-pay processes 5+ years of experience in program or project management (ideally 6+ to 8+ years) 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes Experience leading cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience leading with influence 5+ years of experience leading business case development and technical/process solution decisions 5+ years of experience communicating with executive level leadership 5+ years of experience with SAP Ariba and/or other S2P technologies 10+ years of experience developing supply chain strategies for large organizations Relevant industry affiliations 10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (ideally 15+ to 20+ years) Typical Education/Experience: Senior (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + 9 years' related work experience, Master + 12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.). Senior (Level 6): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + 15 years' related work experience, Master + 18 years' related work experience, 24 years' related work experience, etc.).
