Commercial Physical Damage Adjuster

As a physical damage adjuster on our Commercial Lines team, you?ll investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of Progressive's liability concerning loss of damages specific to commercial products. You?ll accurately estimate the most complex and costly commercial losses. Commercial losses handled by Truck specialists most often involve vehicles such as heavy trucks and equipment; but may include other large vehicles (i.e., fire trucks, busses, wreckers etc.).

This is a field position. In this role, you?ll cover a large geographic territory which may include multiple states. You?ll be driving to vehicle inspection sites.

Must-have qualifications: ? A minimum of six years relevant work experience with three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling ? OR Associate?s degree and a minimum of five years relevant work experience with three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling ? OR Bachelor?s degree or higher and a minimum of three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling

Preferred Skills:
? Proficient in use of physical damage estimating systems
? Ability to multi-task and prioritize
? Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
? Self-motivated, ability to work independently
? Mechanical aptitude including knowledge and hands-on experience related to commercial vehicle repairs

Compensation
? $93,000/year
? Gainshare annual incentive payment is up to 24% of eligible earnings; Progressive rewards each of us with an annual incentive payment based on company performance
