Manager, Treasury Operations (Remote)
Posted 2025-03-14<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>We are looking for a highly motivated and analytically minded individual with deep Treasury operations experience to join Nordstrom?s Treasury team. This role incorporates elements of both cash management and cash operations and will be responsible for supporting a team of Treasury professionals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in people management, have an eye for process improvement opportunities, and be an effective communicator.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities / Core Competencies:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Daily cash desk process, including net cash positioning, planning for borrowing and investment activities, initiating non-A/P bank wire and ACH transactions, maintaining the treasury workstation, and compiling the necessary control and SOX/audit-trail documentation, all while ensuring policy compliance.</li><li>Strategic design and execution of the short-term cash forecasting process, which is used by senior leadership for business planning purposes.</li><li>Collaborate with store personnel to manage store cash operations, including the CIT couriers and other cash room related vendors and activities. </li><li>Be the Treasury representative on cross functional teams tackling new company initiatives that have cash or payment-related impacts.</li><li>Critical thinking around process improvement and the automation or streamlining of various treasury processes using in-house tools or suitable external products. </li><li>Works independently while partnering collaboratively in a team environment, builds trust and relationships within the team, with business partners, and with external vendors to achieve desired department goals and outcomes.</li><li>Ability to create and communicate the Treasury team?s strategic priorities and continuously collaborate with the team to refine as needed.<br><br></li></ul><strong>You own this if you have:<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of strong Treasury operations work experience. </li><li>Previous people management experience - coaching and mentoring to cultivate a high-performing team. </li><li>Proven analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and reporting.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant systems and tools. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to develop processes and deliver quality output from general direction.</li><li>BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CPA, CTP, or comparable experience a plus.<br><br></li></ul>We are able to offer remote work consideration for qualified positions in all states in the US with the following exceptions: AR, MS, MT, NE, NH, ND, SD, VT, WV, and WY.<br><br><strong>We?ve got you covered?<br><br></strong>Our employees are our most important asset and that?s reflected in our benefits. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.<br><br>California: $90,000 - $175,000 annually, Colorado: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, Nevada: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, New York: $90,000 - $175,000 annually, Rhode Island: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, Washington: $90,000 - $175,000 annually<br><br>This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
