Job Description:

The High School English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English language arts instruction to students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will inspire students to appreciate literature, develop strong writing skills, and enhance their communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with state standards. ? Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to diverse learning needs. ? Assess student performance through a variety of assignments, projects, and exams. ? Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. ? Guide students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through literature and writing. ? Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). ? Valid Georgia teaching certification in Secondary Education (English). ? Strong knowledge of literature, writing, and language arts curriculum. ? Prior teaching experience at the high school level is preferred. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ?
