As a Senior Payroll Specialist on the Accounting Team, you?ll be an integral part of Figma?s payroll operations, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure seamless coordination.
In Short
? Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll using Workday Payroll
? Review timesheets, attendance records and leave of absence pay
? Audit payroll tax records
? Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay
? Create journal entries related to payroll transactions
? Collaborate with accounting and finance teams
? Participate in audits for 401k and Workers Compensation
? File quarterly taxes and issue W-2s
? Create and maintain process documentation
? Provide payroll reports to internal departments
Requirements
? 5+ years of full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing experience
? Strong knowledge of Workday Payroll and ADP SmartCompliance
? Experience creating journal entries
? Experience recording equity transactions
? Understanding of US payroll compliance and taxes
? Experience building relationships with stakeholders
