Remote Home Health Coder & OASIS reviewer

Overview
? Immediate need for Home Health Coding & OASIS reviewer, full-time
? 100% remote, from home
? Up to 8 cases per day, M-F
? Salaried position with unique benefits and room for advancement in pay
? Paid Holidays after 90 days (Major holiday's, your birthday is a holiday)
? One week paid vacation after 1 year; two weeks after 3 years
? $500 per month to go towards Health Insurance/Health Costs
? Decision Health Coding Center paid subscription
? Company pays for your Coding & OASIS recertifications annually

Duties
? Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, per official coding guidelines
? Comprehensive OASIS review and edit per official OASIS guidelines
? Build a home health Plan of Care, via review/editing of existing Plan of Care
? Collaborate with medical staff to clarify any discrepancies in documentation
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices
? Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data security.
? Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills of practice

Requirements
? Must have current certifications in both home health ICD-10 coding, and OASIS
? Must have strong skills in identifying home health Face to Face, and primary diagnosis
? Must have strong skills in building a home health plan of care, using the Medical Record, Assessment, and Orders.
? Must be a problem solver, using critical thinking skills to get through cases that can be challenging, advanced coding skills, versus basic.
? Must pass proficiency/competency evaluation
? Kinnser/Wellsky proficiency desired, not required
? Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
? Familiarity PDGM/HHRG concepts
? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
