About the Company and Opportunity:
? Our client is a long-standing government contractor in the DMV.
? Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager to work 100% Remote.
? Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
? Duration: indefinite - possible contract-to-hire depending on needs of the business, performance, and fit.
? Pay: $55-57/hr based on experience.

Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
? Utilize PROCAS Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting Software extensively.
? Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
? Assist in monthly book closings and prepare regular financial reports.
? Ensure project costs and expenses comply with contractual obligations and Government regulations.
? Develop, analyze, and prepare cost proposals for government and commercial clients.
? Support end-of-year tax documentation processes.
? Understanding of DCAA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting or related field
? GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
? Procas experience is a plus
? 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
? Proficient in Excel
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
