- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze employee data and submit entries in time and attendance and payroll systems to compute payments for employees on leave
- Review employee documents for accuracy and compliance with university policies and labor regulations
- Audit HR and payroll logs, personnel transactions, and reports, providing recommendations for corrections
- Communicate with department staff, management, and HR to resolve discrepancies
- Educate managers and staff on payroll systems, university policies, and leave management
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting an HR system
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an office setting
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, policies, and procedures
- Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the employer's organization, UC policies, and procedures
- Certifications such as PMP, AGILE, PHR, or SHRM in project management or HR systems
