About the position

As an EEG Technologist with Cross Country Allied, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, focusing on the prevention of disease and the promotion of patient wellness and safety. This travel position is based in Morristown, New Jersey, and is designed for allied health professionals who are ready to take on new challenges in various healthcare settings. You will have the opportunity to work in diverse environments such as hospitals, outpatient centers, private practices, home health, telemedicine, nursing facilities, clinics, schools, laboratories, and more. Your role will involve utilizing your education, training, and specialized skills to provide essential support to patients, helping them achieve optimal health outcomes. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting electroencephalograms (EEGs) and ensuring the accurate interpretation of results. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures, prepare them for tests, and monitor their comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying abnormalities and collaborating with healthcare providers to develop appropriate treatment plans. This role not only requires technical proficiency but also strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families. The position is structured as a travel job, allowing you to explore new locations while advancing your career. With a duration of 13 weeks and a commitment of 40 hours per week, you will work 8-hour night shifts. Responsibilities

Requirements
? At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty.
