The Post-Closing Disclosure Auditor is responsible for reviewing and auditing mortgage loan files after closing to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines. This role plays a critical part in verifying the accuracy of disclosures and documentation to minimize risks and maintain regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
? Review post-closing loan files to ensure all required disclosures are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and company policies.
? Audit closing documents for accuracy, ensuring consistency with initial and revised loan estimates and final closing disclosures.
? Verify that fees and charges comply with TRID, RESPA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
? Identify and document any discrepancies, omissions, or compliance violations, and communicate findings to the appropriate departments.
? Collaborate with post-closing, compliance, and quality control teams to resolve audit findings and implement corrective actions.
? Maintain detailed records of audits performed and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
? Stay updated on changes in industry regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and improve auditing procedures.
? Provide training and guidance to junior auditors or team members as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
? Minimum of [2] years of experience in post-closing, mortgage auditing, or related fields.
? Strong knowledge of TRID, RESPA, TILA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
? Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
? Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with mortgage loan origination and auditing software.
? Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
