About the position

The Provider Consultant position at Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization, LLC is a full-time role based in the Louisville, KY area. This position serves as the primary liaison between The Healthcare Network and the participating provider community, which includes primary care and specialty care physicians. The consultant is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with providers by delivering excellent customer service and conducting routine and targeted education visits. These visits aim to educate providers about policies and initiatives, ensuring they are well-informed and equipped to serve members effectively. In addition to relationship management, the Provider Consultant will conduct on-site visits, telephone conversations, and written communications with various stakeholders, including hospital executives, patient account managers, and billing managers. The role also involves performing provider orientations and group county orientations for new physicians, covering essential topics such as policies, procedures, and billing practices. The consultant will consult with physician offices to develop tailored training curricula that optimize the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, analyze workflows, and configure systems to align with customer operations. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as a telecommuter. The consultant will also represent the Provider Relations Department in workgroups and committees, addressing both internal and external customer concerns related to provider operations. Overall, this role is crucial in ensuring that providers are well-supported and informed, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided to members.

Responsibilities
? Serve as the primary liaison between The Healthcare Network and the participating provider community.

? Build and maintain strong relationships with providers through excellent customer service.

? Conduct routine and targeted education visits for primary care and specialty care physicians.

? Perform on-site provider orientations and group county orientations regarding policies and procedures.

? Consult with physician offices to develop training curriculum specific to client processes and workflows for optimal EHR system use.

? Analyze workflow by observing customer operations and configure systems accordingly.

? Map customer data from current systems to new EHR systems.

? Represent the Provider Relations Department in workgroups and committees addressing provider community concerns.

? Conduct annual Goal/Target visits for continued education regarding policies and initiatives.

Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Administration, or a related field.

? 2 years of experience in Provider Relations and/or Managed Care Product Administration.
,
? 2 years of hospital experience or medical office experience.
,
? Knowledge of medical claims processing procedures and the dynamics of the Managed Care environment.

? Bilingual in English and Spanish.
