JD-SME-Nursing and Healthcare_Program Developement

We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a BSN, MSN, or DNP and a strong background in Family Nursing Practice (FNP) and/or Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMH) to collaborate on designing a high-impact graduate/master's level nursing courses. The courses are part of a program dedicated to advancing students' knowledge and clinical skills, specializing in primary care and mental health services. The SME will play a key role in developing a curriculum that prepares students for the complexities of today's healthcare landscape.

The SME should have a strong nursing teaching/curriculum development background and be well-versed in the structure of an MSN program, AACN domain, NONPF, nursing competencies, and the standards and technologies that should be integrated into it.

SME Scope of Work -

1. Course Structure & Weekly Modules

Develop a comprehensive course outline divided into 16 weekly modules.

Each module should include a topic, required and supplementary learning resources, discussion prompts, assignments, and quizzes.

Ensure that the course structure aligns with CLOs and PLOs.

2. Learning Resources

Identify and curate required and supplementary Open Educational Resources (OERs) for each module.

Ensure selected OERs are up-to-date, relevant, and appropriately licensed.

3. Discussion Prompts

Create weekly discussion prompts that encourage critical thinking and engagement.

Ensure discussion questions are aligned with module topics and CLOs.

4. Assignments & Quizzes

Design weekly assignments that reinforce learning and assess comprehension.

Develop quizzes for formative and summative assessments.

Ensure all assessments align with CLOs and PLOs.

5. Incorporating Client Feedback

Review and integrate client-provided fixes and modifications.

Iterate content based on client and ID team feedback.

6. Support to Instructional Design (ID) Team

Provide ongoing guidance to the ID team in content development.

Clarify subject-matter-related queries as needed.

7. Client Meetings & Feedback Sessions

Be available for client calls and discussions to address feedback and revisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
