This position is responsible for: Responsible for daily operations of servers that includes updating, proper monitoring, backups, and timely resolution of issues and management of AD environment Responsible for daily support and operations of user end-point devices to include desktops/laptops/mobile devices Upgrading systems by implementing and maintaining security controls Recommends hardware/software solutions to improve uptime and monitoring of environment Responsible for Network environment LAN & WAN to support 100% up time Implementation and evolution of network access controls Lead network efforts to mitigate and investigate security incidents Develop automation and utilize frameworks to scale both protection and mitigation tools Prepares policies and best practice guidelines Responsible for security events that includes monitoring of environment, defining access privileges Keep Unifrax safe through active operation and defense of critical network infrastructure Assist business partners in assessing the feasibility of technical or process solutions to meet business needs Adheres to change control procedures Monitoring of user tickets/calls and demands through the Service Desk tool Prepares reports for review by executive staff Maintains technical knowledge by continuous education by attending workshops and reviewing proper education material If you are interested in being part of a world class IT function here at Alkegen then we would love to hear from you.
