Our client, a reputable Investment & Wealth Management Firm in the heart of Chicago, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team.This role is budgeted up to a base of $75,000 with additional annual bonus and will be hybrid downtown in the loop 2-3 days a week on average. Financial Analyst Responsibilities: - Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, performance evaluation, and risk assessment to support investment decision-making processes.
  • Investment Research: Assist in researching various investment opportunities, asset classes, and market trends to provide valuable insights for portfolio management.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and analyze investment portfolios, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Management: Gather and organize financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness for analysis.
  • Reporting: Prepare concise and comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and clients, highlighting investment strategies and outcomes.
  • Support Senior Analysts: Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers, assisting them in various financial tasks and projects.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to address inquiries related to investment performance and portfolio management.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks within investment portfolios and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Financial Analyst Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field & MUST be local to the Chicago area
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a financial analyst role
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Solid understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and economic trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and proactive attitude
