The Business Systems Manager oversees the technical/software support function which assists Bank employees who use the Jack Henry banking system including Accounting, Deposit, Retail, and Loan platform processing. Assists with a variety of other ancillary applications. Responsible for the analysis and problem-solving for system-related issues.
In Short
? Maintain regular interaction with senior officers regarding software and support issues.
? Interact with Compliance Department on regulatory requirements.
? Facilitate team meetings and provide direction.
? Supervise direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
? Review incoming projects and validate requests.
? Work closely with other departments on projects.
? Manage software support staff and project assignments.
? Participate in project meetings related to Jack Henry core system.
? Maintain user authority in Jack Henry system.
? Assist with ancillary applications.
Requirements
? 10-15 years of experience in program troubleshooting and basic programming.
? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience in IT or systems analysis.
? Ability to motivate and influence others.
? Solid knowledge of Jack Henry operating system.
? Efficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
? Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Ability to work under deadlines with interruptions.
? Self-motivated and organized.
? Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
