E&S Habitational Underwriter

What you will be doing

As an E&S Habitational Underwriter, you will leverage your underwriting expertise to deliver tailored solutions for clients in California. This is a production-driven role, where you'll be expected to achieve results while demonstrating attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mentality. You will be responsible for managing complex risks and building relationships with wholesale distributors, contributing to the firm?s ongoing growth.

What you need to succeed
? 5+ years of E&S underwriting experience, with a strong preference for Habitational experience.
? Proven experience with commercial property underwriting is acceptable if Habitational experience is not present.
? Established relationships with wholesale distributors in California.
? Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
? A proactive, results-oriented approach, with a willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
? Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
? Ability to work remotely with flexibility, while still meeting deadlines and producing results.
? Familiarity with underwriting TIV up to $50MM per location and authority to review up to $10MM in risks.
