About the position

This role audits and reviews auto repair appraisals ensuring compliance with industry repair standards, state and local laws, and internal guidelines. The reviews involve insurance claims that range from low to complex. You will report to a Manager of Claims Support Services. This is primarily a home-based role, where you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home. Occasionally, you may be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events. It is important that you are located proximate to one of the following locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034; Nashville, TN 37214. Responsibilities
? Write and review auto appraisals from internal staff and vendors.

? Interpret and apply a variety of claim and coverage applications and differences including 1st and 3rd party claims, multiple policy types, and endorsements.

? Interpret facts of loss and apply to damages to identify cause and origin, damage types, and fraud indicators.

? Perform reparability decisions including obtaining vehicle and salvage values.
,
? Negotiate positive outcomes with internal and external customers.
,
? Manage work inventory to meet established goals.
,
? Support decisions through proper file documentation and communication.
,
? Manage your files, making independent decisions and recognizing when assistance is needed.
,
? Provide all parties with claim process and status; answer questions or redirect to other areas.

? Collaborate as a subject matter expert and technical resource on process and claim resolution with internal and external partners.

? Maintain relationships with vendor networks and peers in other departments.

Requirements
? Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle estimating or similar insurance industry knowledge.

? Initiative-taking; ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
,
? Valid Driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.
,
? Obtain state specific property casualty claims adjuster licensing as required.
